Herein Riding Rwanda Ltd will be referred to as Riding Rwanda throughout this document

Riding Rwanda is committed to protecting your privacy and providing a safe online experience. This Privacy Notice applies to the Riding Rwanda website and governs data collection and usage. By using the Riding Rwanda website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Use of your Personal Information

Riding Rwanda collects and uses your personal information to operate the Riding Rwanda website and deliver the services you have requested from us. You directly provide us with the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you: Register online or place an order for any of our products and services; voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email or signing a service agreement.

Riding Rwanda collects the data so that we can: process any orders you place with us online or by telephone; email you with special offer on products and services; deliver our services to you.

Riding Rwanda may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services of interest to you available from Riding Rwanda and its affiliates. Riding Rwanda may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. These are preferred services and when you sign up, you have a choice to receive such information or not. If you agree, you hereby agree to receive such information from us from time to time.

Riding Rwanda does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Riding Rwanda may, occasionally contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that we feel may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. In addition, Riding Rwanda may share data with trusted partners (such as Google Analytics) to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide those specific services to Riding Rwanda, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Please note that our systems may take a little time to fully register your opt-out preferences, so if you continue to receive emails in the forty-eight (48) hours after making changes, please accept our apologies and ignore them.

Riding Rwanda collects other de-personalised information which does not record personal information as such, rather information such as the date of the visit to the site, the path taken, the browser used, the IP address etc is used primarily to aid the technical administration of the site, to better understand how the site is functioning for users and to draw conclusions upon demographic information.

Riding Rwanda does not collect sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, sexual orientation or political affiliations.

It is our intention to always be transparent and responsible to you regarding your personal data and information We conduct our activity in line with recommendations laid out in the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPRs) and other regulations regarding privacy and data protection. Among other rights you have, you will be able to opt out of any emails or marketing communications from Riding Rwanda or our trusted partners. You also have the right to unsubscribe from our mailing lists. You also have the right to see copy of any data that we hold on you.

Financial Information

We may require you to provide us with Financial Information (like your account or credit card numbers) in order to authorise or process service user fees and service provider fees in relation to the services we offer. Your consent is given to provide your financial or personal information to those third parties necessary to process your transactions with us, such as credit card companies and banks. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Except as provided above, we will not share any financial information with any third parties without your express prior consent.

Riding Rwanda keeps track of the websites and pages our customers visit within Riding Rwanda, in order to determine what Riding Rwanda services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customised content and advertising within Riding Rwanda to customers whose behaviour indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

Riding Rwanda websites will disclose your personal information, without your notice, only if we are required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform with current legal regulations or comply with any competent and valid court order served on Riding Rwanda or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Riding Rwanda ; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Riding Rwanda , or the public.

We try to meet the highest standards when collecting and using Personal Information. For this reason, we take any complaints we receive about this very seriously. We encourage people to bring it to our attention if they think that our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate. We would also welcome any suggestions for improving our procedures. We are happy to provide any additional information or explanation needed.

Your Access to Personal Information

We try to be as open as open as possible in terms of giving people access to their Personal Information. You do have a right to request a copy of any data or information we hold on you by making a ‘Subject Access Request’ under the Data Protection Act 1998. If we do hold information about you, we will let you have a copy of that information. To make a request for such disclosure, you need to put the request in writing addressing it to the address provided below. We do charge a small fee for this service.

Please note that you will be required to supply a copy of a valid photo ID and proof of your address (such as a bank statement, council tax bill or Inland Revenue letter) when you request disclosure. This is to prevent unauthorised disclosure. Without this information we will not be liable for any improper disclosure of your information. Every User is also entitled to the following:

You have the right to request that Riding Rwanda correct any information you believe is inaccurate.

You have the right to request Riding Rwanda to complete information you believe is incomplete.

You have the right to request that Riding Rwanda erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

You have the right to request that Riding Rwanda restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

If you do make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
